15.01.00 Type

 

         The electrical actuators  shall be non integral type.

 

15.02.00 Rating

 

      a) Supply  Voltage & frequency – 415 V +/- 10%, 3 phase,  3

 

         wire 50 Hz +/- 5%.

 

      b) Sizing – For OPEN/CLOSE at rated speed against  designed

 

         Diff.pressure at 90% of rated voltage.

 

      c) For isolating services – 60 starts/ Hr.

         

      d) For Modulating Services – 1200  Starts/ Hr.

 

15.03.00  Construction

 

      a) Enclosure – Totally enclosed weatherproof Min.IP-67 Deg.

                     of protection.

      b) Gear Train- Metal  (Fiber gears are not  acceptable)self

                     locking   to  prevent  drift  under   torque

                     switch(where ever applicable)spring pressure

                     when motor is de-energized.

      c) Manual Wheel- Shall disengage automatically during motor

                     operation.

 

15.04.00  Motor

 

      a) Type  -  Squirrel cage induction motor, direct  on  line

 

         starting with starting current  limited to six times the

 

         rated current as per IS 325.

 

      b) Enclosure – Totally enclosed, self ventilated IP-67 Deg.

                     of protection.   

         For Minus Level – IP-68

 

      c) Insulation

 

         All Motor  of Electrical  Actuator  shall be  `F’  Class

 

         Insulation. Temp. rise upto `B’ Class.

 

      d) Bearings

                       

         Double shielded, grease lubricated antifriction.

 

      e) Earth Terminals – Two

      f) Protection

         i) single phasing protection

        ii) Over heating protection through thermostat- 3 No.

            (One in each winding)

       iii) Wrong phase sequence protection

 

15.05.00  Position/ Torque Switches

 

     i)  Limit Switches     -     4 Nos.(2 NO + 2NC)

 

    ii)  Torque Switches    -     2 Nos.(2 NO + 2NC)

   iii)  Rating of Switches -     5 A,240 V AC or 0.5 A, 220 VDC

 

15.06.00  Local Operation

 

         It  shall  be  possible  to  operate  actuator  locally.

 

         Lockable  local/ remote selection shall be  provided  on

 

         actuator.

 

15.07.00  Position Indicator -  To be provided.

 

15.08.00  Position Transmitter(For Modulating/Inching Type)

 

         As required. Suitable  for stabilized 4-20 mA signal, 2

 

         wire inductive type, 24 volts DC operated.

 

15.09.00 Wiring       

 

         Suitable voltage grade copper wire.

 

15.10.00 Terminal Box

 

i)    Pin plug and socket type.

     ii) Necessary glands for power cables shall be provided.

 

15.11.00  Colour shade of Actuator – BLUE(RAL 5012)

 

15.12.00  Admissible Ambient Temp. – 0-80 Deg.C

 

15.13.00  Bidder shall provide lockable emergency PB near

Electrical Actuator and stop PB shall be  wired directly to MCC.
